Adam’s paper impressed all the judges with its honest and open assessment of bulletin boards and their value in a b2b
context. It clearly outlines the benefits to be gained and issues to be addressed when conducting this type of work and, using Adam’s experience and case study examples, sets out guidelines when thinking about bulletin board research. The paper considered this methodology in the context of other qualitative methodologies available to the b2b researcher and did not attempt to ‘sell’ the tool, but simply offered it as a viable alternative in suitable circumstances. Overall the paper was an interesting and honest review of the methodology and is educational for all B2B researchers.
What the judges said: "An important contribution to best practice with a refreshingly open assessment of bulletin boards in the b2b context."
