 Daisy McAndrew
Daisy McAndrew is chief political correspondent for ITV News and columnist for the Independent. Formerly Andrew Neil’s co-host on BBC2’s The Daily Politics, Daisy has also presented the Heaven & Earth Show and was political correspondent for BBC Breakfast.
Starting as a House of Commons researcher, Daisy moved on to work on The House Magazine. She was Press Secretary to Charles Kennedy in the run up to the 2001 general election, widely credited as the best campaign of this election.
She left Westminster to pursue a career in broadcasting, appearing on BBC Conference Live with Andrew Neil. Daisy also presented the lunchtime political programme Powerhouse, as well as commenting on the week in politics for Despatch Box. She has appeared on Have I Got News For You? and as guest newspaper reviewer on 5 Live’s Worricker Show.
