Awards Introduction


The MRS/ASC Award for Technology Effectiveness

This award, initiated in 2003, is for outstanding innovation in the application of software or technology to market, opinion and social research in achieving greater effectiveness in research. The award aims to bring deserved prominence and greater recognition to those whose excellence in the application of technology is making an outstanding contribution to research effectiveness. Entry to the award is free and is open to anyone developing technology specifically for research applications, or adapting it for that purpose.

ASC logoThe award is judged by a panel of industry experts and presented to the company or individual considered to have achieved the highest level of excellence in creating software or other technology that promotes and improves research effectiveness.

The shortlist was announced at the ASC Conference on 3 October and the winner will be revealed at the Research Awards 2008 on 8 December.
