The MRS launches on-line guide for market research buyers

The Market Research Society (MRS) has launched the industry's most comprehensive free on-line listing of market research suppliers based in the UK and the Republic of Ireland. This new version of its popular Research Buyer's Guide (RBG), which can be found at www.rbg.org.uk, will provide buyers of market research with a wealth of valuable information - all at the touch of a button.

Amongst the information available are the details of over 750 market research organisations, ranging from qualitative to quantitative to specialist companies such as consultants in children's research, healthcare research and business-to-business research. Other reference material on the site includes entries from research recruitment agencies, viewing facilities and links to useful websites, such as other industry bodies and international associations, as well as the latest market research league tables.

One of the key benefits of the on-line version is that the Guide is now available to an international audience, making it far easier for overseas companies to locate MRS members within the UK and the Republic of Ireland. Additionally, the entries will be constantly updated throughout the year, ensuring that the information always remains current.

One of the most popular elements of the site is proving to be the Bulletin Board. This is a new concept from The MRS which allows buyers to place their research requirements on-line for agencies to download. This facility will be particularly useful for buyers with niche requirements, allowing them to receive approaches from market researchers who have the capability to cater for their needs without having to undertake a time-consuming research and filtering process.
