MRS' Research Buyer's Guide - a growing on-line resource

The Market Research Society's (MRS) on-line directory, www.rbg.org.uk, today celebrates its first anniversary with the knowledge that it has become one of the most valuable tools available for anyone seeking a market research supplier. The latest data shows that the popularity of the site has grown to attract an average of 12,000 hits a month - approximately 400 per day.

www.rbg.org.uk is the industry's most comprehensive on-line listing of market research suppliers based in the UK and the Republic of Ireland. Launched a year ago, the on-line version of The MRS' traditional Research Buyer's Guide currently lists over 750 organisations and consultants in the UK and the Republic of Ireland offering market research and related services. One of the site's key benefits is that potential buyers can search with confidence as all of the listed research suppliers employ a Full Member of The Market Research Society, ensuring compliance with The MRS Code of Conduct.

Additionally, the on-line version of the Guide offers visitors a wealth of extra services, including the facility to search for viewing rooms; research key industry figures; locate support services, such as transcription or recruitment; and look up the latest industry league tables. One element of the site which has continued to remain popular is the Bulletin Board, which allows buyers to place their research requirements on-line for agencies to view and respond to as suitable - avoiding buyers having to hunt around for an agency which can meet their requirements.
