MRS has a co-operation agreement with the Association
for Survey Computing (ASC).
The ASC aims to keep people up to date with the role of computers
in all aspects of the survey research process. In particular its aims are:
- To act as a forum for the various disciplines within survey research
and statistical computing
- To inform members of the latest software packages and techniques
- To organise regular conferences and workshops on key topics within
the industry
- To disseminate information via its website and publications
- To catalogue current software systems
The ASC publishes a definitive guide to survey software, the Register
for Statistical and Survey Analysis, and organises regular conferences
and workshops.
