Business Intelligence Group (BIG)


BIG is an independent group affiliated to MRS. It exists to provide a focal point for business-to-business (b2b) researchers to meet, exchange ideas and network.

BIG Conference 2009 –13-15 May 2009
Venue: the Marriott St.Pierre Hotel in Chepstow.
The theme will be the changing context of business markets and the wider information mix. Questions will include the nature of B2B decision-making, changing economic patterns, technology and what research can learn from sister disciplines.

This year's Conference Awards' winners were announced at the recent BIG Summer Event at London Zoo. The winners are:

  • Best Newcomer - Richard Hepburn, Munro Global

MRS/BIG Business Research Award
