New

The Ethnic Research Network exists to raise the profile of ethnic research by promoting the benefits of researching minority communities, encouraging diversity in the research industry and facilitating best practice.

It operates as a core group, with information being made available to a wider audience via email and the website.

A primary aim is to gather and disseminate information on how best to operate in this growing area of research and offer practical support such as questions that clients should be asking agencies when commissioning research. The Network has produced a guidance note on conducting ethnic research.

Regular meetings are held to discuss case studies (good and bad) and the lessons to be gleaned. Summaries are given in the Resources section, which also includes frequently asked questions and guidance on how to find an appropriate supplier.
