The annual Field Conference is a great forum to air and discuss issues relating to fieldwork. The event enables delegates to gain knowledge, share ideas, enjoy networking and help shape the future of field research. This year's conference was held on the 7 and 8 July 2008 at the Leicester Marriott Hotel. Reports from previous conferences have been produced, outlining the main issues and opinions of the delegates. These can be downloaded from the Resources page, which also includes a number of guidelines vital to anyone working in field research. The Accredited Interviewer Training
Scheme (AITS) aims to provide the knowledge, skills and attitudes
for effective interviewing.
