ICG was formed in early 1993 as a special interest group within MRS to represent the interests of 'solo' researchers. It is now an independent group affiliated to MRS, and represents small research consultancies and independent market researchers. It promotes the value of these to research buyers, encourages networking and the sharing of ideas and experiences. It also keeps members abreast of the latest research techniques, issues and legislation affecting the industry.
