MRS Professional Standards Forum

The MRS Professional Standards Forum was set up to facilitate the exchange of information between MRS and research organisations on standards and compliance issues. The Forum is primarily an email network but also holds three to four meetings a year.

MRS Professional Standards Forum which is open to Non-members as well as Members.

The Forum covers a wide range of issues. Recent meetings have discussed:

The ICO’s new powers to impose fines
Revision of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Directive
The MRS ‘Guarantee’ on Thank You Leaflets
Revision of the MRS Code of Conduct
The Unfair Commercial Practices Directive
The Services Directive
Re-contacting respondents
