Objective
This course enables you to
- extend your repertoire of qualitative methodologies and techniques, and build your confidence and skills to meet new and varied research challenges.
Learning outcomes
By the end of the course, delegates should be able to
- design and implement a wide range of qualitative solutions to client research problems, choosing the most effective combination of methodologies from the familiar and the less familiar
- confidently take responsibility for a project from proposal to presentation
- use new projective techniques, develop their own stimulus material, and invent enabling techniques
- build strong working partnerships with clients
Who will benefit?
This course will benefit researchers with 1-2 years’ experience of qualitative research. It is particularly relevant to those who are beginning to take more responsibility for projects, including project design, contact with clients and management of the research process.

Judith Wardle
Judith Wardle has more than 20 years’ experience in research. During this time, she has conducted qualitative conversations with approaching 19,000 people about topics ranging from the mundane to the sublime. Most of those topics revolve around the strategic development of brands, but she enjoys advertising research more than any other.
She has run three qualitative companies, including Wardle McLean, which she founded in 1996 with Kevin McLean.
