Problem solving is a skill you need to develop, whatever your role. This course provides a practical guide to problem solving, taking you through the following steps:

Problem Solving enables learners to

Defining the problem looks at what a problem is and how it can be identified
Gathering information looks at how to obtain information (measurable and quantifiable data and subjective and abstract considerations)
Decision making is where you can find out about some of the tools and techniques available to help you to solve problems
Presenting the solution looks at the decision to select a solution, how to communicate it and how to implement it

Flexible learning

Learners take their own route through the topics covered in the course. They will learn at their own pace through a variety of activities designed to accommodate a range of learning styles.
